Rotorua stinks
We spent some time in Rotorua, and boy does it stink. Literally. It smells like sulfur. But it has some incredible geothermal activity.
We then went to a geothermal wonderland called Wai-O-Tapu, and we saw some pretty nifty stuff.

The color yellow!

It’s super hot, don’t walk on it, it will hurt.

We loved the orange color on the outside of Champagne pool

We also went to Waimangu Volcanic Valley and did a walk through the park and then river cruise. It is the world’s youngest geothermal system, and it was pretty amazing.
